Cold Seven Layer Dip

This is my summer recipe for when we are invited to an event and I’m to bring an appetizer 🙂

Seven Layer Mexican Dip

  • 8 ounces guacamole (purchase at grocery store or make your own)
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 4 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 bunch green onions finely chopped
  • 16 ounce can refried beans
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese

In a bowl, mix sour cream and seasoning mix.

In a 9X13 glass dish, spread the refried beans. Then the sour cream mixture. Then the guacamole. Top with tomatoes, green onions and cheese.

Serve with tortilla chips. I like the “scoop” chips. Enjoy!
