Job knew God saw everything (Job 31:4), no one could hide from God. It struck me that Job knew he was blameless (Job 31:6).
Job hadn’t walked in falsehood (Job 31:5), his steps remained on God’s walk (Job 31:7), his heart was not led by his eyes (Job 31:7), his heart had not been enticed by a woman (Job 31:9), and so on in Job 31.
Prior to God allowing Satan to kill all of Job’s children, flock and servants (Job 1), Job was blameless. But after Job lost his earthly possessions, he remained blameless! He practiced the presence of God.
Yes, Job is a wonderful example. But I challenged myself this week with the question : Even though I have not lost children or loved ones or belongings, how often do I practice the presence of God? Thoughts?
