Book Review : Love Finds You in Miracle, Kentucky

This was one of those books that I kept getting interrupted during. I didn’t have the opportunity to read it straight through like I enjoy, but that didn’t change how into the characters I was when I picked up Love Finds You in Miracle Kentucky to finish it!

Backcover copy:

Anything can happen when you live in a place called Miracle. Meg Jorgenson wants a fresh start, miles away from the city and a failed relationship. She takes a teaching position in the tiny town of Miracle, Kentucky, and vows to steer clear of smooth-talking men. Before long, Meg is smitten, but it’s eight-year-old Cammy Bayer who wins her heart. The young girl has spent much of her life in a wheelchair but firmly believes that God will heal her someday. Cammy’s widowed father, Vance, has devoted his life to caring for his young daughter, and he is delighted by the attention she receives from her new teacher. But will Meg and Vance see eye-to-eye when it comes to an experimental procedure that might grant Cammy the use of her legs? Will they open their minds to the miracle of healing, and their hearts to the miracle of love?

Meg is so real because she has many flaws. The author, Andrea Boeshaar, shows us the life Meg is leaving and why she is making the choice to move to Miracle – and that makes me want to root for Meg and her new life! This action packed novel was a page turner. Meg came upon conflicts around every corner, yet they were very believable conflicts. There was a wide cast of characters, but I was never confused with who was who. And all those characters were three dimensional. I highly recommend this sweet novel!
