At our old home, our glass shower door ended up with some type of film on it. So when we prepared our home to sell, we had to replace it 🙁
In our new home, we don’t want to run into that problem, so I investigated what we could do to make this glass door look like new, hopefully forever!
- Twice a month, I spray a dawn and water solution on the glass and then rinse well
- Every time we use the shower, we squeegee the glass, and then towel dry the door with a microfiber towel (the dollar store sells them in packs of 6)
A final tip: after every shower, push the door half way into the shower and allow to air dry ~ that’ll dry the tilework quicker and lead to less mold/mildew problems in the caulk and grout.
